Het Circuit
In Northamptonshire in Engeland bevindt zich een racecircuit genaamd het Silverstone circuit. Tijdens de tweede wereldoorlog diende het 5.890 meter lange circuit als trainingsveld voor de Britse bommenwerpers. In 1948 werd hier voor het eerst een Grand Prix voor de Formule 1 georganiseerd.
